I have been helping women embrace Pilates for the last 10 years in person and online.
My passion for Pilates stems from seeing changes in my own body and using Pilates to help heal low back pain, pelvic floor issues, regain lost muscle mass and give me a boost of energy that I found lacking.

What if I can’t get up and down from the floor easily?
At this time, the classes in the Boost Your Bones Pilates Program do include exercises on the mat—so they may not be the right fit if you’re unable to get down to (or up from) the floor without assistance.

I would recommend a minimum of 2 classes per week to see results. Remember: consistency is more important than intensity in reaching your fitness goals.
What level of intensity can I expect from this gentle Pilates program, and is it suitable for beginners?
Yes, this program is a mixed level and suitable for beginners. If you are brand new to Pilates, I encourage you to start with no weights and focus on your form. Modifications are offered throughout each class to ensure you are moving at your own pace. The rule in my studio is - do what you can, and forget the rest!
Do the classes expire?

What specific modifications are included in this Pilates program for women experiencing midlife changes?
As we age, I understand knees, shoulders and wrists can get a bit "noisy". Limited time is spent on all fours with cues to modify. The exercises in this program are low impact and designed to be gentle on your joints. Special care is taken to ensure the exercises leave you feeling good.
How can a gentle online Pilates program benefit women?
This is my favourite question!
First off, Pilates focuses on the mobility of your joints. As we age, joints can get tight. Pilates specifically focuses on working on releasing tight joints.
Also, Pilates is a weight bearing exercise program – therefore it is excellent for improving bone density (lessening your risk of bone fractures).
In addition, it works to improve posture and balance, both of which tend to decline as we approach mid-life and beyond.
Finally, Pilates works to build core strength which helps to ease back pain and give you a feeling of confidence as you move about your day.
